on the hunt for hermes...

There are very few high-end designer labels I've invested in for my wardrobe.  Most are hand-me-downs from my mama (thanks, Ya!)—a Bottega Veneta cross-body bucket bag, my Louis Vuitton wallet and some Salvatore Ferragamo patent ballet flats.

However, there is one item I'm eyeing this year: an Hermes belt.  One I can fancy-up a pair of jeans with, or throw on to bring a little more shape to a dress...

I've been keeping tabs on eBay so fingers crossed I can score one for a good deal!

this just in: 30% off commando!

I've mentioned my love for undies before, and that commando was my brand of choice for the big day.  In celebration of their new website, they're offering 30% off their entire site through Monday!  This is a great chance to get your hands on the best pair of non-VPL (visible panty-line) undies that I promise you will fall in love with.

Enjoy!

new favorite label: t by alexander wang

I was recently hanging out with my girls Jamie and Courtney, catching up while sitting in the sun.  While Court is a really good eater, she also has great style!  She was wearing the cutest outfita pocket tee and ruched skirt.  Comfortable for a Saturday, but still chic.  Both items were T by Alexander Wang, and she highly recommended them.

Jamie and I decided to go check it out at Nordstrom that afternoon and both left with the ruched skirt in grey... I also got the pocket tee in a very light blue.  I love this line!  The t-shirt is super soft, a little longer in length (super flattering) and perfect with black pants, jeans, the skirt, you name it, it looks good.

I'm excited for the weather to get warmer so I can wear the skirt more.  Thanks for the great recommendation, Court!

getting the look...

{image thanks to franni!}

A few weeks ago I blogged about getting this look!  I ended up ordering the skirt from Zara and in today's 70 degree weather, I gave a try... what do you think?
